ResearchRabbit helps you explore the literature from different perspectives, allowing you to drill down on specific papers. You can explore the references of specific papers (their "Earlier Work"), limit the results to those published earlier than the articles you're looking at (your seed, or input papers). These are generally the references of the articles.

  1. Log into ResearchRabbit and start a new search

    1. You can do this for one or more input/seed papers.

  2. Click "Find Related Articles"

  3. Click on the Search bubble at the top of the screen, i.e. the paper name

  4. Select "All References" from the Search across... option

✅ That’s it! You’ve just branched out from your paper(s) into the wider literature network, and discovered Earlier Work based on that input.

🐇⚡️You can use Advanced Search with RR+ to find articles published in specific years.
