ResearchRabbit strives to be fully reliable and transparent when it comes to our search processes. This gives you the confidence to use our tool, and understand exactly how it works. For comprehensive reviews, systematic literature reviews, or other projects, this can be essential in ensuring the right coverage for your research.

How does ResearchRabbit work?

ResearchRabbit finds relevant research by using the citation network.

Using one or more input articles, ResearchRabbit searches the local network of citations; that's all the citations and references of the initial articles. Based on these, we find the highest-quality, connected research. This research is highly related to your topic because it connects not just to one paper you know, but is deeply interconnected to the entire local network!

⚡️ Recommendations are calculated based on the articles that are the most influential in the citation network, where influence comes from both the number and quality of citations.

The Advanced Search in ResearchRabbit takes this one step further by allowing you to use customizable filters that further target your search. The underlying search is the same, but filtered based on your search criteria.

What data does ResearchRabbit use?

ResearchRabbit relies on a robust database from several source providers. Read more about it here.
