How do I search "Similar Work” in the new ResearchRabbit?

Here's how to discover Similar Work to paper(s) you know in the newest version of ResearchRabbit, released October 2025.

ResearchRabbit helps you explore the literature by finding "Similar Work" to papers you already know. Here's how to discover Similar Work in the new ReseachRabbit.

  1. Log into ResearchRabbit

  2. Start a new search: You need to select one or more papers to get started. You can start by:

    1. Select a ResearchRabbit Collection from the home page or Library

    2. Search by keywords: Type in concepts related to your topic in the search bar. Pick 1–3 papers that look like strong starting points

    3. Search by a paper title or DOI: Enter a known article directly.

    4. Import papers: Click Import on the homepage to upload your own library. This can be exported from tools like Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote. You can bring in:

      • BibTeX (.bib)

      • RIS (.ris)

      • CSV (.csv)

  3. Click "Find Related Articles" on the bottom right. This is the same as "Similar Work"!

  4. Review the results

    1. Now, ResearchRabbit returns the most relevant Similar Work based on your input papers.

    2. Review the articles in the visualization or the list.

✅ That’s it! You’ve just branched out from your paper(s) into the wider literature network, and discovered Similar Work.

💡Hint: You can repeat this process with iterative searches to uncover even more of the research connected to your topic.
