Data Responsibility: TLDR

Your work belongs to you. We don't use it to train AI models, and we don't sell it or share it with third parties.

How ResearchRabbit uses your Data

Research data like articles and notes can be very sensitive, and it's fair to be scrutinising about which companies you trust to handle it.

Our small team operates thanks to the income we receive from RR+ subscriptions. This means we can continue to provide ResearchRabbit in a transparent way that aligns with our personal ethics about research:

  • We don't sell or expose your articles/notes to third parties

  • We don't train AI models using your articles or notes

Your research belongs to you.

Note that our full privacy policy has the formal details, and we recommend you read that if you have the time and bandwidth. This document is intended as a quick TLDR about common concerns about data (mis)use.

What we use your data for

  • Providing ResearchRabbit! We store your articles and notes to be able to let you do what you do within ResearchRabbit. Pretty straightforward.

  • To communicate with you. We'll send occasional emails to do with functional things like policy changes or downtime, and you can opt in to marketing emails for things like news, webinars, and offers.

  • Analytics. We're always trying to improve what we do, and our "analytics" are a set of tools that give us quantitative data on what's working – and what's not.

Updates to our policies

Data privacy is a growing concern, and for good reason, with rapidly-evolving technology like AI. Our policies will need to continue evolve with these technologies, and we'll make you aware soon as possible about about any changes that will impact you.
