Research involves a lot of articles. Some you want to read straight away, some you want to save for later, and some you've already worked through. The Reading List helps you keep track of all of it without losing your place.
Reading statuses
You can tag any article with one of five statuses:
To Read
Status | What it means |
Later | Not right now |
Up Next | This one's a priority |
Read
Status | What it means |
Skimmed | You've had a quick look |
Read Fully | Properly read |
Understood | Read and processed, you know how it fits |
How to set a reading status
Open any article in the Article Inspector and use the reading status dropdown to choose the right label. You can update it at any point as your reading progresses.
💡 Setting a reading status on an article you haven't saved yet will automatically add it to your library.
Your Reading List
All your tagged articles live in the Library under the Reading List tab. From here you can filter by To Read or Read, and collapse groups to keep things tidy.
Reading statuses are yours
Reading statuses are personal and project-specific. If a teammate marks an article as read, it won't show as read for you. If you've read an article in one project, you'll need to tag it again in another.
Happy reading 🐰
